Patterned Breathing During Labor

Updated: May 7

The way my client mastered patterned breathing…I’m in awe. I’m so inspired by them.”

The way my client gathered an organized breaths and deep sighs as their waves or contractions built and released tension especially during first stage of labor…

The way they inhaled through their nose and exhaled with a lion’s breathe (exhale through the mouth with an audible sound)

So incredibly inspiring! Because of my client, my meditation 🧘🏾‍♂️ practice has changed. The way I understand breathing while in pain has changed. I’ve learned that our breathe can help us navigate through pain.

Patterned breathing is a great way to help folks, not just laboring/birthing folks, can move through pain.
