Two Years Ago today

It's unbelievable the first babe I assisted with as a doula will be TWO years old in a couple of days! We went into the hospital Saturday and she birthed in the wee hours of Monday mornin'.

This birth changed the trajectory of my life-- Supporting a birthing person during ring of fire. At 7cm 8 cm 9 cm....Wow. It took me a year to get that screaming out of my head (second hand trauma is so real. So real)

The babe was so beautiful and healthy. I cried after the birth, on my way home, and hours (off and on) And called my Mom Lorraine

I can't believe this babe will be TWO in two days. *sigh* memories
